Real impact. Real structure.
A growing support network for rescue dogs in Baja California Sur.
Rescue is only the beginning.
The Good Strays Project exists to create better pathways for rescue dogs through adoption support, community infrastructure, volunteer programs, foster networks, and long-term opportunities beyond the shelter system.
Many rescue organizations and independent rescuers in Baja California Sur are overwhelmed. Shelters are saturated, resources are limited, and thousands of dogs continue searching for homes every year.
The Good Strays Project is being built as a long-term support system focused on creating more sustainable pathways for rescue dogs — not only through rescue itself, but through adoption infrastructure, visibility, partnerships, education, and future opportunities beyond the shelter system.
We approach each project as a response to a specific problem, always looking for solutions that create lasting impact instead of temporary relief.

Project 01
Increasing Adoptions
The first and most urgent challenge is adoption.
Many shelters and rescuers are already beyond capacity, making it impossible to continue receiving more dogs
without creating better adoption systems and long-term opportunities.
Our first active initiative focuses on increasing adoption opportunities and improving visibility for rescue dogs
through modern tools, partnerships, and support infrastructure.
